Nothing brings me greater joy than cooking for my friends. When Mike Agan and John Edgar Browning come to town, I know I’m in for some wonderful company and some incredible food.
Last Sunday, I held a brunch at my house for about a dozen or so people with a rather loaded menu. Here are some picture snip-its of what we ate and who was lucky enough to eat it.
The menu included: 4 kinds of waffles,
served with 4 kinds of syrup:
3 quiches, homemade cinnamon sticky buns,
biscotti, bacon, scrambled eggs and fruit tartlets:
enough simosas and bloody marys to wash away the food, it was glorious.
Although the guest list wasn’t perfect–there were some notable absences in the friends menu–I had a wonderful time drinking cocktails at “brunchtime” and catching up with my friends.
And, of course, we tipped the cook.
